Hey, Allison, welcome.
I am a clarinetist here at UC Santa Cruz. I am also a music major here
too. I try to get the others to join on, but they are not interested. Oh
well!! Anyway, I play clarinet here at Santa Cruz with the school
orchestra, under the direction of Nicole Paiement. Wonderful
conductor!(^_^) I study with Mark Brandenburg, who is a fabulous
clarinetist and well known nationally. I started with Sax, lovely
instrument and all, but too dam heavy, then I fell on clarinet and loved
it. I plan to become a music teacher, perfomer and whatever else comes
along. I als want to study abroad in Australia, get my MM in conducting,
music ed, and my PHD in musicology. So many lofty goals, I love it!
Enjoy the list, because you can learn alot.
