Seiko DM 20 $30, small, subdivides, gives an A. What more could you ask
 for the price?

 Subject: metronomes

My 11-year-old daughter is a budding clarinet player who could benefit
from a metronome, and I'm an aging amateur who could also probably
benefit as well. I would like to ask the list subscribers if they have
any recommendations on what kind of metronome would be most useful to
her (and me) - which features are necessary, which merely useful, and
which an unnecessary expense. Anything to avoid or any great bargains?
There's quite a range of prices and features, and I don't want to blow a
bundle if $40-$50 (or less) will take care of it.
