I want to appologize a little to my last post (just a couple of secs ago)
because I hadn't read all the rest of the conversation yet. Mr.Garrett
misunderstood something awhile back and I misunderstood him which has
been fleshed out sence. I still believe that non-majors do add very very
good things to music programs. They can have an important part in progams
of every size and I think universities are missing the boat if they aren't
offering some ensambles for non-majors to play in. Here it also give
performance opportunities to the music majors who don't get into the
auditioned groups.
