Bob wrote in reference to someone's post about works written for and/or
commissioned by Goodman:

I think Poulenc was not?! If so, I've learned something new today.

Also Berstein Prelude, Fugue and Riffs. Gould Derivations for Band and
Clarinet

I believe Bob's right; the Poulenc sonata was not written with Goodman in
mind. Composers that collaborated with Goodman that I know of were Copland,
Bart=F3k, Hindemith and Gould (also a recording of Goodman playing the
Nielsen concerto with Gould conducting). I wasn't aware of the Bernstein
"Prelude, Fugue and Riffs...I guess I learned something new today!" Thanks
Bob!
