Jonathan,
Thanks for your reply. My friend and I plan to work on the Bruch for
a competion, but since it is written to be accompanied by a symphony
orchestra rather than a string orchestra, we can't use it for this gig. I'm
glad to learn about the Berio double, and surely all clarinetists (and some
violinists too, I hope) will be waiting in anticipation.
