Subj: Playboy and the low C bass clarinet

I am advised by a reliable authority that the Playboy issue with
the naked lady and the bass clarinet is July '83, pages 144 and 145.
I have not been able to obtain a copy of this edition so I cannot
confirm it, but it is the right time period and the fact that it
is said to be a two page spread (no pun intended) is logical because
it was a wide picture.

For those who only recently joined Klarinet, this is not a list
of sex maniacs (at least I don't think it is), but a hunt for an
old issue of Playboy in which the model posed nude with a low C
bass clarinet. I had it in my case and someone stole it. (The
possibility also exists that someone found it offensive and took
it for that reason.)
