Ron always has been very adverturesome in his selection of repertoire.
I have always found that it is hard to get a crowd to listen to the
Reger quintet. They always want the Brahms instead.
Reger, unfortunately, is a romanticist in the age of people who are
considered far better composers. I do not say I agree, but rather that
is the general feeling.
