 Kris, as I indicated, a pile of clarinets would be imported and
 then a specific person's name would be stamped on each instrument
 in a prominent place in order to give the impression that he or she
 was involved in the design and manufacturing process.  In fact, no
 such involvement ever took place and these people were paid a fee
 for the use of their names.
 
 The Noblet clarinet was always a very good brand, never the best, but
 always a respectable clarinet.
 
 Re the Klezmer clarinetist, I'd give it all up if I could just play
 like Giora Feidman!!!
