Thank you for your response to my question about the A bass clarinet.
Here at Ithaca, we do receive The Clarinet magazine--in fact, I think I
read that article! I remeber reading a comment on the "On the Trail"
bass solo being easier to play on A than Bb!
I have recently purchased a Selmer Paris 33 low-C bass in Bb. Perhaps
I will contact my Selmer distributer for more info.
