These won't strengthen things, but these are what I wear when I play:

I have tendinitis on the tops of both wrists and a ganglion cyst on top of where my left hand and wrist come together. I used to have pain in my right arm that when it was very bad, I could trace it along a tendon all the way from my right thumb to my elbow (at least that's what a doctor said it was). Thankfully, it almost never gets that bad anymore.

Whenever I doubt that I get any benefit from wearing them, I try to play without them and notice the difference within 5 minutes, especially in my right wrist/hand. When the cyst became painful (and not just ugly to look at), I started wearing a glove on the left wrist; until this year, I had worn one on only the right side (past couple of years I'd estimate).

I'm seeing a hand specialist in about a month; if I get any strengthening ideas, I'll pass them along to the list.

The best thing was this year, I was able to find a black pair. Now they match concert dress! ;)

Rachel
