Please join us for the 68th season of the Chamber Music Center, which
operates under the umbrella of the Composers Conference at Wellesley
College. Since its founding in 1945, the Composers Conference and
Chamber Music Center has offered training for emerging composers,
coaching for amateur musicians and concerts for the public during two
intensive weeks in the summer.

Each week, approximately sixty talented amateurs--string and wind
players, pianists, and singers--participate in a workshop that
includes intensive coaching, opportunities for ad hoc playing,
attendance at professional concerts, and discussions with young
composers. Attendees may come for two weeks, one week, or part of a
week, and they may stay on campus or commute. Auditors may also
attend as residents or commuters.

Deadline: March 1, 2012. Applications received after March 1
will be placed on the waiting list.
Early bird discount: Register by February 15, 2012 for $50
reduction in any tuition rate
Newcomers are welcome! Please fill out the section on the
registration form detailing your experience and references. We will
contact you to schedule an audition.
Recruit a NEW participant and receive EITHER $100 tuition discount
or a Composers Conference T-shirt
Scholarship information available upon request
Professional Development Points available to Massachusetts Public
School teachers

Fee Schedule:

Full-week resident $1337

Part-week resident $ 812

Full-week commuter $ 1029

Part-week commuter $ 624

Family daily rate $ 87

Deposit: $150 (becomes non-refundable upon acceptance). Fee
balance due by May 15, 2011. Please contact Kathryn Welter (see
