But what would we do without our resident historian and inquisitor?
(NOOO-body expects ... the Leeson Inquisition!) And to whom will we squeak
about Mozart's Gran Patootie?

But none of us have found the perfect reed yet, much less the perfect
ligature. And we know it's out there. Really. Somewhere. And we think
you know where. And what about mousepieces, oops, I mean mouthpieces?

Well, if you're really determined to absquatulate, we can't stop you, but if
you do quit the list, just take comfort in the fact that we'll be carrying
on extended discussions of how to achieve that nice, dark sound behind your
back. Unbeknownst to you, we may even quote you selectively and out of
context re. how to achieve that nice, dark sound while playing Stravinsky's
Firebird part for clarinet in D on a blown-out B-flat clarinet. But as long
as you really don't mind....
[Evil grin....]

Seriously, best wishes for a long and happy future, but we really would miss
you around here.
