Your "problem," Mr. Leeson, is that you are a curmudgeon of the highest
order. (Lest you think otherwise, this is High Praise Indeed.) You have
managed to outlive generations of insipidity. No matter how eloquent and
incisive the Leeson Lessons, more youngsters spring up on a daily basis who
need that "dark" tone, the "best" Buffet, and all the rest. You make
things idiot-proof, we build better idiots.

This is why teachers are followers of Sisyphus - their work can never be
done.

Nevertheless, your contributions to the world of clarinet and Klarinet are
prodigious. The Barenreiter edition of K361 alone is a Great Life's Work.

We are all in your debt, for much Coin of the Realm.
