Dear List,

The recent duet discussion reminded me that I don't think I ever
posted about the 'Character Duets' I wrote and performed this
year. Score and recording available for free at my website

under Chamber Music.
Six short musical portraits of clarinetists, including Joze Kotar,
Eric Mandat, Frank Kowalsky, Jim Ognibene, Jesse Canterbury, and
Jennifer Nelson.

Also, I'll be performing a few concerts in the Seattle area soon,
that feature the Brahms Quintet. Even if you're not in the area,
check out http://www.simplemeasures.org/ because the photo they took
is quite funny. February 10 and 12. On Feb. 4, I'll be performing
for the Seattle Chamber Music Society's Children's concert, and on
Feb 17th, I'll be in Leavenworth, WA doing the Brahms Trio and
Horovitz Sonatina. In March, I'll be in the south for recitals and
master classes - check the schedule on my website for details.
