I play with a college-community orchestra that was resurrected last year (students get credit, and most members are students/faculty). The conductor is a current student and I don't know if they're thought about who will take over when he graduated (he's a sophomore now). The faculty advisor is retiring after the spring semester; he celebrated 50 years at Brockport this year I believe. The concerts are free.
