Tim and others---

Some of you know that I am the conductor of the Los Angeles Clarinet Choir,
a year round performing group in which most members have studied clarinet
performance in college. We've now had seven years of testing the "20 minute
warmup" idea on a weekly basis.

We've experimented with tuning at the beginning of the rehearsal, not
tuning, and tuning at various points of the rehearsal. (I might add that all
the sopranos in the group are playing Buffet, however not all are playing
original barrels.)

20 minutes--works like a charm.

I'm convinced.
