Ted Casher here. I cannot recommend the Backun ringless barrels highly enough! I am using a 64mm red laminate wood on my carbon fiber Bliss clarinet and it makes the sound zing out and makes me play in tune. I have 2 of the laminate wood and 2 cocobolos---no problems! I was using them on my Selmer 10Gs---but my Selmer 10gs are now in the closet, since I bought the Bliss!

My work is all jazz and klezmer. When I play shows, I take out the 10gs; otherwise I will overblow the section!

Morrie makes them as short as 62mm. Call him up. You will enjoy!

Good luck------Ted Casher

I have a Clarke Fobes 64 mm barrel for my A clarinet. It has not cracked. And works on my Bflat horn as well.
