Complicated midi aside, isn't it good for the kids to play along with
accompaniment, even if it is Justin Bieber. I remember playing along to a
vinyl MMO recording when I was a kid. Some of those can be quite hard as
the keys are in D or A to compensate for C parts. Gives you a sense of how
to play as an ensemble.
