Well, I'm playing on my rejects. I had three boxes of rejects from 2004
when I stopped playing in orchestra. Since the car crash and the loss of
my job I am on bare bones. I think I am still learning on my rejects.
They probably all have tens of hours of playing on them already. I have
only gone through three quarters of a box since last June. For a while I
was playing up to four hours a day though stopped for a few months when the
warty lesions showed up on my lip (I have some specific exposures to warts
to generate my concern).

I discovered, probably for the twentieth time, that I do not blow hard
enough. If I use a firmer air stream, I don't bite
as much and the nuances of lip movements come out better in my playing.

I get light-headed when I blow harder...

Drats... Back to the woodshed. Gotta change reeds again too.
