Dear Gary,

I would be very interested in seeing a copy of those markings.=A0 As we =

all know, there are multiple "correct" ways to phrase those great =

etudes, and input from another great inerpreter would enrich all of =

our interpretations and teaching.=A0 It would also be interesting to =

see how he deals with the mistakes, which are few in the studies, but =

rampant in the etudes!

Would anyone be interested in the Rose studies with Gustav Langenus's
original autographed phrase markings as he would mark the books for his
students?
I have a set of the original he used while giving lessons.=A0 Was intending=
to
make a CD of the scanned pages for free distribution to worthy teachers. At
CBDNA Chicago the folks from Fischer said OK, Rose copied most the exercises
from other sources anyway and adapted them for clarinet.

I've been holding these books for several years and need an incentive to get
moving on the project.
