I never tried this particular brand but I have a "click" barrel that I used in high school for marching band. It was excellent for marching band becuase of the extreme temperatures and I think the range was 61mm-68mm. I definitely used both of those mm in the cold and heat. I haven't tried using the barrel in a concert setting but maybe I should... if it doesnt effect the quality of sound then I think that barrel would be ideal. Tom
