That makes a lot of sense. Rico bought Glotin's single reed machines when
they decided to devote themselves to double reed products. I saw the
machines at Rico just after they bought them. They were in terrible shape
and had to be thoroughly rebuilt.

Neuranter, who owned/owns the reed plantation next to the Glotin family
plantation, bought Glotin's cane plantation about 6 or so years ago.
According to Neuranter, the Glotin reed machines were destroyed...by those
who bought them. I have this information in an email directly from A.
Neuranter. The words he used...."broken by"....

Glotin cane and reeds were for me, the best. The cane is still available
through Neuranter for those who make their reeds.
