If so, I concur in your 1925 date, and further surmise that it is a Bb
clarinet, in low pitch (that is, A=440 Hz).

I also assume it says Conn, or more likely, "C. G. Conn, Ltd." right on the
instrument. In 86 years, it is possible that the instrument and its
original case could have become separated. Pedler was an inferior brand, so
I hope yours is really a Conn.
