Laura -

There's not much available on Meister. I found a little through
Google Books, which is an essential research tool. See for example
http://books.google.com/books?ei=Su22To3EL9KatweYlajIAw&ct=result&id=hBMKAQAAMAAJ&dq=%22georges+meister%22&q=%22years+he+conducted+the%22#search_anchor
and a bit more at
http://books.google.com/books?id=zSIKAQAAMAAJ&q=%22Georges+meister%22&dq=%22Georges+meister%22&hl=en&ei=BvG2Tqv9IoSatwf9msHZAw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CDcQ6AEwAA

The is more material in Almen, Approaches to Meaning in Music. Go to
http://books.google.com/books?id=EvYRVnQQKR4C&pg=PA212&dq=%22Georges+Meister%22&hl=en&ei=afG2Tu7TJsiztweYvozBAw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=3&ved=0CEEQ6AEwAg#v=onepage&q=%22Georges%20Meister%22&f=false
and then to note 62 at pp. 211-12. Unfortunately, the text to which
this note refers is not included in the scanned material, but the book
is undoubtedly available in music libraries.

Good luck. Let us know what else you find.
