A leak pretty much anywhere will affect the long B. First guess would be
the C key, held down by the B. The crowfoot adjustment is critical, but
very commonly out.

Yamaha makes one of the better student clarinets. Don't be so quick to
blame the instrument just because it is not a pro wood Buffet.
