Palisades Virtuosi in Concert on September 24 at Montclair State =

University in Montclair, New Jersey

The critically-acclaimed Palisades Virtuosi will present a special =

pre-season concert on Saturday, September 24 =96 8:00 PM in the Leshowitz =

Recital Hall of the Cali School of Music on the campus of Montclair =

State University in Montclair, New Jersey. The performance will be part =

of the Faculty Recital Series.

The first half of the program will be works commissioned by Palisades =

Virtuosi. Composers include Ryan Francis, Carlos Franzetti and Brian =

Schober, whose Wind Space (a 9-11 commemorative) will be performed in =

honor of the 10th anniversary of that event. The second half will be the =

Sextet for Piano and Wind Instruments [1888] by Ludwig Thuille. The =

Virtuosi will be joined by MSU Faculty members Andrew Adelson, oboe, =

Harry Searing, bassoon and Jeff Scott, French horn.

The Palisades Virtuosi, consisting of flutist Margaret Swinchoski, =

clarinetist Donald Mokrynski and pianist Ron Levy, is a 501 (c)(3) =

organization established to promote and enrich the repertoire for flute, =

clarinet and piano and present concerts that include existing and =

newly-commissioned repertoire for this configuration (each of their =

concerts includes a work commissioned by the ensemble), supplemented by =

solos, duos and larger works featuring guest artists. Volumes One, Two =
