Does anyone have any recordings of someone performing on a pre-1800's

Hi Matt.
There is a recording by Alan Hacker of the Mozart K581 plus the two quintet fragments (including the one for clarinet, basset-horn and string trio) played on contemporary instruments which might be of interest. It is Amon Ra CD-SAR 17. There is also an excellent one of the Schubert Octet by the Academy of Ancient Music Chamber ensemble, with Anthony Pay playing a Heronard (1830)Bflat and Proff (1800) C.
