Since your now post grade 8, I'd suggest looking at the ABRSM diploma
syllabus for clarinet see

You might already know some of them. For the ones you've never heard of, just type them into youtube and see if you can pull up a performance or two. You can also try the imslp.org/wiki/Main_Page for free sheet music (out of copyright - it's legal). Good luck! Victoria

Hello,

I am currently a first year music student and my teacher has chosen three pieces for me to play for the exam. She would also like me to go listen to some music and decide on a piece that I like and would like to play. Im not sure where to even start looking. Are there any pieces or perhaps performers that anyone could suggest that I could go and find a recording to listen to in order to find a piece that i could play. I have completed grade 8 in Royal schools.
