Subj: [kl] The Adagio for 5 clarinets of Mozart

The quintet for three basset horns and two clarinets, was written by Mozart for Masonic purposes. It has the K listing of 411. In 2006, Keith Bowen, Forest Aten and I, along with two student clarinetists, played the work (as well as other pieces) in two venues, first at St. John's college in Santa Fe, NM, and then at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.

While the sound quality of the talking part is not good, you can hear the piece starting at about 4 minutes into the YOUTUBE recording. It is a particular treasure.
