Subject: [kl] seeking a teacher

This is a re-send. Since I didn't get any replies, I thought it might not
have gone through.
Sorry if it has indeed gone through.

An adult friend of mine has taken an interest in learning to play clarinet.
He plays guitar well, but doesn't read music too well, and has never played
a wind instrument.
He seems seriously interested, with the eventual goal of augmenting his soft
rock band with color.

He is looking for a suitable teacher in the San Diego area, who can work
with him from scratch, starting with finding the right clarinet.
He is about 35 years of age.

Any suggestions?

Howard
