I used to have problems with chapped lips. A trumpet player told me to go
to an old-style pharmacist, apothecary, or a health food place that mixes
herbs and ask them to mix up a tincture of myrrh (I had heard of heard of
frankincense and myrrh but did know what it was). You put the tincture of mrryh
on your lips before you go to bed. It turns you lips an orange color and has
a slight burning or tingling sensation depending on how chapped your lips
are. You wipe if off with water in the morning and your lips are no longer
chapped (and no longer orange). I didn't believe it, but it worked well for
me. For some reason, I don't have as much trouble with chapped lips as I used
to. It might be something to try. Best of luck to you.
