Some people expect that, just because they are in tune with the long C,
they must automatically be in tune on the other notes as well. That's
not the case. With my equipment, which I like very much, I know that my
throat tones (E, F, F#, G, G#, A) are a bit sharp. I have learned to
relax just a little in that region, then things are happy.

Especially when trying new equipment, you should check the tuning on a
number of notes. Lowest long G, middle C, throat G, long C, top of
staff G, open C, altissimo E, and altissimo G are a good sample.
