FWIW, of the Selmers I've seen the French ones all had the clutch. Of the
USA Selmers the Bundy didn't and the Signet did. Anyone who is interested

I must send Steve photos of the Series 9 'full' (aka 'Personal' in the
terms of the brochure - Brochure 1, 2nd side)... Unless someone else has
one and gets there first :-)

Then there's the Marchi system of course... I need a Marchi system
fingering chart (to save my brain exploding!).
