Whoever is teaching people to never slide is decidedly not following the =

great instructional materials. Many of the materials have specific drills =

on sliding!

I'd slide right pinky from D# to C#. We've all been told NEVER SLIDE, but it
ain't necessarily so.

Best wishes!

hi list!

In the clarinet sonata by Saint-Sa=EBns you have in the 2.mvt., 58 and again
in 60-61 a passage to be played legato: d#-c#-g# (clarion). How do you
proffs manage this on a Boehm? I do a diminutive break between c# and g# -
anybody knows of a better solution?
