A crack of any kind puts a severe dent in the resale value of any clarinet,
but not THAT big a dent. And a clarinet with a repaired crack will play
just fine. Compare it to a car that has had an accident and been repaired.
People tend to avoid buying because it is not "perfect" yet it looks and
drives just fine. You can still sell it, but it won't get top dollar.
