I am an exhibitor at ClarinetFest this year and I am seeking help for my =
booth. =20

I am a chemist by trade and have spent several years replicating the =
rubber formula used in the old Chedeville mouthpieces - both Charles and =
Henri Chedeville - and having the replica rod rubber CNC machined into =
mouthpieces and barrels. I am sure that you already know a lot about =
Chedeville and Kaspar mouthpieces made from Chedeville blanks.=20

I am usually very busy taking care of the Doctor's Products booth at =
shows but this year I will also reintroduce updated replicas of the old =
Chedeville mouthpieces and barrels in a second booth adjacent to =
Doctor's Products ( #' 307 & 308).=20

( Too many" I's" starting paragraphs - sorry) I would like to hire a =
proficient clarinet player - perhaps a graduate student or junior =
faculty - that knows about mouthpiece nomenclature and function to =
demonstrate and sell the Chedeville (I am now the owner of the trademark =
and name mark internationally for Chedeville) high end professional =
mouthpieces, student mouthpieces and clarinet barrels made from =
Chedeville rubber. The person must be friendly, articulate, and a plus =
would be sales experience. They would necessarily need to be in the =
booth during exhibitor hours which I think are 8 hours per day Thursday, =
Friday, and Saturday Aug. 4-6. Since I know the Chedeville products from =
the ground up I will be just next door to answer any tough questions. =
All of the mouthpieces are already faced so the job would be to let =
customers try out the mouthpieces and barrels and then clean and =
sanitize them for reuse if not sold. The mouthpieces and barrels are =
best played on Buffet clarinets and are presently only available for Bb =
clarinets.

The pay will be $20.00 per hour plus a negotiated percentage of sales. =
Since the Chedeville products are premier grade the commission could be =
substantial. I will spend some time before the first day of the show =
(perhaps an hour before exhibits open) providing the background and =
information necessary for selling the Chedeville products. There will be =
an ad for Chedeville in the ClarinetFest program and a flyer provided in =
each attendee's bag.

If you know of anyone who might be interested in this job (18 + years =
old) and will be out in LA for ClarinetFest please have them contact me =
by email so that I can get a feeling about their suitability and discuss =
the other particulars .
