I'm not sure why you would conclude this. Most mouthpiece
manufacturers, with the possible exception of the true mass-market
commodity makers, have kept very detailed records of the mouthpieces
they have made. I remember discussions on this very list earlier in
this century between two mouthpiece makers comparing their curve
statistics and justifying each one.
