Subj: [kl] Keeping screws in place
Date: Tue, 14 Jun 2011 14:13:36 -0400

While practicing yesterday, the left hand rings on my clarinet=A0suddenly p=
opped =

out towards me; the screw at the bottom came out! Luckily, the rug in the r=
oom =

is beige-colored so I found the screw easily and put the world back togethe=
r. =

This has happened a couple times to me (as well as to the principal clarine=
tist =

in orchestra=A0warming up for a concert earlier this year. He couldn't find=
the =

screw right away so he borrowed the same screw from his A clarinet since we =

didn't need our A's; thankfully, he found the screw afterwards ).

Any tips for keeping these screws in place? I've heard clear nail polish wo=
rks; =

is that recommended? Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Rachel
