I may be looking for a bass clarinet stand soon (hopefully). I had a K & M
before. I didn't really like the way it was setup and it was heavy for me. Any
suggestions? I'm looking for something that I can fold up (at least to a degree)
and won't be very heavy. I need something stable. Also, I use a peg stand and
want to be able to keep it where I play it rather than moving it to put in on
the stand (another reason I don't like the K & M). The Hercules looks good; has
anyone here used it and have any comments about it? What else is good to look
at? Do any bass stands come with carrying cases?

This depends on how good my birthday is to me this fall. I want to replace the
(musty) case before getting a stand, but it depends on funds. For cases, I like
the Pro-Tec case. Other suggestions? My bass is a 1-piece body Bundy (Eb key on
the bell).
