I've hear a lot that if players have uneven 12ths, their intervals tend to =
be =

too wide. When I play, if my 12ths are uneven, it's because they are too na=
rrow. =

What causes this? I don't think it's a lack of support thing. My teacher sa=
ys =

that if anything, I need more support on the lower notes; those are the one=
s =

that tend to die. He also says that more support will bring up my throat to=
nes =

which tend to flatten out (also playing with a Chadash barrel; I'm not sure=
if =

that's part of the issue, but the other barrel I own is cracked so I'm not =
sure =

if that would help me).=A0I think this is a me thing as opposed to an equip=
ment =

thing since it happens on any instrument that I play.

Any suggestions on fixing this issue?

Rachel
