This is made by Wittner, if it is the same as the stand I have. I have abus=
ed mine for 30 years, carting it to kiddie concerts, etc. It folds up a bit=
shorter than a regular folding stand, but is a bit heavier, and thus more =
stable. A quick check on the web shows the price at $34.95 - probably you c=
an find it for less. A music shelf extender is available, as is a carrying =
bag. Like Oliver, I'd buy another if I needed to replace it. One feature is=
that you can set is very low to the floor, the better to see your chamber =
music colleagues. (That's an advantage, right?!?!?) String groups that I kn=
ow seem to like this stand for that reason.
