Hmmm, perhaps you should rephrase that as "that can't be sung". I know
that (many) trills are singable, but I'm buggered if I can do it ... :-)

For Vann Joe -- Keith's paper on clarinet ornamentation is really worth
reading, so do take him up on his offer!

Do we have any stories or experience here from period instrument players
on what the difficulties and solutions are?
