With all due respect, does that last sentence actually say anything?
I'm not convinced that the phrase "center of the pitch spectrum" has any
quantifiable meaning, other than poetic.

"Tighter mouth" I can agree with, and that does have measurable impact
on the sound, but it's certainly not clear to me that playing with a
tighter mouth has anything to do with "pitch spectrum," nor is it clear
why I would want to be at the top or bottom of same. Can you elucidate?
