As it was once explained to me by a person who worked for Buffet here
in the US, there are two kinds of Evette & Schaffer models. The B
model and the K model. The K models were reject R-13s. The reason
could be a flaw in the wood, a mistake with undercutting one of the
holes, etc. Often it was simply cosmetic. The B models were definite
student horns, and not as good as the K ones. If I remember
correctly, the Bs were made in Germany, not France.
