The SML saxophones (Strasser-Marigaux-Lemaire) made by the same company also
have an excellent reputation. The company was much too small to compete
effectively with Selmer, but their prime output, which coincided with
Selmer's, is in demand on the eBay and other used markets. King imported
some of the saxes and clarinets and sold them under the "King-Marigaux"
designation. Strasser and Lemaire-branded instruments are also out there,
but they are inferior, student-line products.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is TOO LOUD!
