Subj: [kl] Selmer Privilege Set, Bb and A, for sale

Hello fellow clarinetists,

I have a set of gorgeous Selmer Privilege model clarinets for sale.

A description from the Selmer Paris site can be found at the following URL-

The Privilege model is very similar to the Buffet Prestige model in
quality and sound.

It has a "meaty" sound, more so than most Buffets, but with very even
tone throughout the whole range, and excellent intonation. (Better in
evenness and intonation than any Buffet)

The reason I am selling? - I have played Buffet models all my life,
and at age 51, I am accustomed to the unique openness and flexible
resistance of the Buffet clarinets.

I bought the Selmers because they offered a special introductory price
for the set, and because they played better in tune, and more evenly,
than my old set of Buffets.

Since then, I have discovered that I prefer the slightly "lighter"
resistance of the Buffet Festival model.

Please let me know if you are interested in bidding on this gorgeous
set of matching clarinets.

Thanks
David Thomas
