The American Chamber Ensemble in Concert on April 3 at Hofstra =

The American Chamber Ensemble will perform the third concert of their =

2010-2011 season on Sunday, April 3 - 3 PM at Monroe Lecture Center =

Theater of Hofstra University, on California Avenue in Hempstead, N.Y. =

This concert is presented by the Music Department of Hofstra University.

Featured pieces will be Dvorak=92s Quintet in A Major, Op. 81 for piano =

and strings, Chandler Carter=92s Song of the Bachman=92s Warbler for cello =

and piano, Albert Tepper=92s Suite for clarinet and bassoon, =

Shostakovich=92s Trio No. 2 in E minor for piano, violin, cello, op.67 and =

Von Weber=92s Fantasia and Rondo in B-flat Major, op. 34 for clarinet and =

strings.

Performers will be ACE Directors Naomi Drucker and Blanche Abram with =

pianist Marilyn Lehman, violinists Eriko Sato and Deborah Wong, violist =

Chiu-chen Liu, cellist James Waldo and bassonist Lisa Alexander.
