I forgot to mention and notate about the trills!!!!

As you will notice there are trills such as upper register F# to G# and throat A to long B.

Theres 2 things that will solve this.

1. I like all my trills to start on the upper note

2. I like them to be some kind of rythm depending on the context of where it is.

so 2 examples would be at the end of the 2nd movement in "molto adagio" there is an A to B trill in the first clarinet. If I played that what I would do is something like (starting on B and then)

1 + tri-ple-et 2 + (the triplet should be fast-ish)
B A B A B A G

That rythm may not technically fit into that spot but it is adagio and its meant to just kind of be free changing notes when you are ready to.

Then in movement IV I think the 1st phrase in the 1st clarinet ends with a G# to F# trill. again start on G#

double dotted 8th note 2 32nd notes 2 +
G# F# G# F# E

Those are just what I would do. you can make up your own or use those but PLEASE DO NOT USE THAT AWFUL SIDE B KEY AT THE END OF MOVEMENT II.

Thanks

Tom
