Hi Claudia,

The last letter in the lot number will tell you what the sub-strength is.
3.5s with a lot number ending in I are sub-strenght soft. Lot numbers
ending in J and K are medium and hard, respectively.

Subject: [kl] Zonda reed packaging

Does anyone know how to tell what sub-strength a box of Zonda Hand Select
reeds is? In recent months I've ordered Zondas in a particular sub-strength
(3.5 I) from two different companies, and both times the reeds came in boxes
that only said 3.5 without any other strength indication. I haven't tried
the second set yet, but the first set felt harder than I expected, so I
wonder whether I received the right sub-strength.

Thanks,
Claudia
