Gregory Barrett wrote a dissertation dealing with the cl/cello work being discussed. Indiana University 1998 I believe. He gave a presentation on it at one of the ICA conferences and I'm pretty sure he wrote an article in "The Clarinet" (ICA Journal) around the same time.
